Cushion diamond questions
What size is a 1 carat cushion diamond?
About 5.5 to 6.1 mm across for a square cushion. Cushions face up a little small for their weight, so compare millimetres.
What is a crushed ice cushion?
A cushion cut with many small facets that give a glittering sparkle. Chunky or old-style cushions show larger flashes. The certificate doesn’t say which; the video does.
Do cushion diamonds show colour?
More than most shapes. G–H is a good start; if you see warmth on the video, go up to F–G.
