1. Who we are
Jouwell is the business name of 9180-0102 Québec Inc., 620 Cathcart, Suite 600, Montreal, Quebec H3B 1M1. This policy explains what personal information we collect on jouwell.com and what we do with it.
2. What we collect

3. Why we use it
- To confirm, check, deliver and, when allowed, take back the diamonds you buy.
- To answer your questions and send you the diamonds our gemologist picks for you.
- To send the newsletter, only if you asked for it.
- To keep the site and your payments secure and prevent fraud.
- To keep the records the law requires, such as tax records.
- With your consent only: to measure how the site is used and how our ads perform.
4. Who we share it with
Only with the services that help us run the business, and only what each one needs:
- Wix: website hosting, checkout, accounts, our customer records, and email
- The payment provider behind our checkout: your card details, to process your payment
- The courier that delivers your diamond: your name, address and phone
- Anthropic (Claude AI): reads certificate photos you upload. The photos are not used to train AI.
- Google: browsing data from analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads), only if you accept them
Our diamond suppliers don’t receive your name or address: every diamond is ordered to our Montreal office.
We never sell or rent your personal information. Some of these services store data outside Quebec, including in the United States. We make sure they protect it properly.
5. Cookies
- Essential cookies keep the site working, like keeping you signed in and remembering your cookie choice. They’re always on.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) show us which pages are useful, so we can improve the site.
- Advertising cookies (Google Ads) let us measure our ads and show relevant ads on Google.
Analytics and advertising cookies are off until you say yes. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
6. How long we keep it
For as long as we need it for your order, your account or your question, then as long as the law requires (for example, tax records). After that, we delete it.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, to receive a copy of it, or to withdraw your consent, for example to stop getting emails. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. Write to us and we’ll reply within 30 days.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and access is limited to the people who need it.
