Heart diamonds, lab-grown and natural

A heart says it all, but only if it reads as a heart. That takes enough size, even lobes and a crisp cleft, which is what we check on every stone.

Every heart we sell is certified by GIA, IGI or HRD and has a 360° video, so you can see its outline before you buy.

Our advice

“A heart says it all, but only if it reads as a heart. Go for at least half a carat, and choose one with even lobes and a crisp cleft; we check both on video.”

Heart diamond questions

What is the smallest heart diamond that still looks like a heart?

Go for at least half a carat. Below about 0.50 ct the shape is hard to read once it is set, especially with prongs.

What makes a good heart diamond?

Two even lobes, a crisp cleft between them and a point in the centre. A ratio close to 1.00 keeps it from looking squashed or stretched.

What setting suits a heart diamond?

A V-prong on the point and prongs on the lobes, or a bezel. Three-prong settings show the outline best.
