GIA, IGI or HRD: which report should you trust?
Three respected labs, three report styles. What each one does well.
GIA, IGI and HRD Antwerp are the three labs we work with, for both natural and lab-grown diamonds. GIA created the 4Cs and is the reference for natural stones. IGI grades most of the world's lab-grown diamonds and states the growth method and any treatment. HRD, based in Antwerp, is known across Europe for consistent reports. The lab's name matters less than two things: the report must be verifiable online, and the stone must match it. Our gemologist checks both for every diamond before it leaves Montreal.
